After years in Ha Noi with its loud and crowded streets, a woman returns to her hometown. Her family belongs to the Red Dao, an ethnic group living for many generations in the mountains of north Vietnam. During her stay, reminiscences and dreams fill her spirit and reconnect her to the beauty of the red mountains.
The RED DAO 2018 collection from Metiseko is a tribute to this ethnic group. The design of the collection is based on the memory of traditional patterns that the designer encountered throughout years of travel around these beautiful and unique lands of Vietnam.
